There are a few types of consultations with Dr. Brandon.

Considering Initiation of Treatment

If your goal is to see Dr. Brandon as a patient on an ongoing basis, you must first have a full intake session. During this 90 minute session, you’ll meet in person or virtually for a full intake session to review your medical and psychiatric history and discuss diagnosis and treatment options. This session may or may not end with being prescribed medication. Having an intake session does not guarantee that you will become a patient of Dr. Brandon’s as some patients require a higher level of care after being fully evaluated. Dr. Brandon will review your treatment plan with you during this session to let you know if you will be able to continue in the practice.

Second Opinion Consultation

This is a one time consultation session either in person or virtual with Dr. Brandon to discuss in-depth your medical and psychiatric history. Outside hours of Dr. Brandon’s time may be dedicated to reviewing your prior medical records which will be billed at her usual fee. You will discuss diagnosis and possible treatment options for you to discuss with your outside provider. Following this consultation a full written treatment plan will be provided to you and your treating physician. No medications are prescribed and there is no continuation of care. At the end of this appointment, Dr. Brandon is not your treatment provider.
